Carl Gustave Jung

Carl Gustave Jung

As it's often the case in my paintings the telephone is the symbol of communication with the Self, the apple represents knowledge, often mystical knowledge. Leaning against a wall that comes from her dress, the girl with an apple plucked from the painting and a the telephone in her hand, is about to enter the "Important Room". The Important Room is the place where we meet our subconscience. Carl Gustave Jung is standing in front of her, with his famous pipe, and an open umbrella, a wink to his mentor and rival Freud - 2017
